[Hallicrafters] Grommets for tuning caps

To all following this string,
      Whenever I have to replace the dried out rubber washers under the 
tuning caps (Like on my RCA 5T) I   use power cord type rubber gromlets. I bought a 
bag of misc sizes of these for a few $ at Marvac Electronics in Pasadena, CA 
a while ago. The gromlets seem to do the trick for vibration isolation. 73
