Subject: [Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters made in Canada
In 1949 I got my first shortwave radio. It was an S-38 built under license
by Rogers Majestic in Leaside Ontario (now part of Toronto). Does anyone
know of other Hallicrafters products built at that facility or were R-M the
Canadian distributor?
The radio was given to a young lad (in 1963) from the Leaside High School
A.R.C.. I still remember the wonderful look on his face as he walked out of
our home. Hope he is still a ham.
73 & Thanks Mike VE3WMF
