Hmmm no I wasn't thinking of the FPM-200 (of which I would be happy to find one).  I saw a photo of one that was supposed to be a successor of the FPM-300 and was all solid state.  

Yes I would have thought Drake had the best chance of making the SS transition, and they came the closest, but alas they failed as well.
