I think the major problem with using a 7360 as a balanced modulator is its
sensitivity to external magnetic fields. That's why the carrier suppression
changes when you put the cover down on the HT-32B.

HMMMM, I never heard of degaussing an SSB generator. Are you sure he didn't
get the HT-32B mixed up with a color TV set, or maybe it has one built in
somewhere.
