[Hallicrafters] sx-28a dial cord information and source for knob restoration or replacement

I have a SX-28A that I am restoring. Unfortunately, no matter where I look I cant find information on how to string the dial cords. Both cords are broken on this unit. Additionally, the skirts on the knobs are badly faded and need to be restored or replaced. The main frequency dial is also discolored. If anybody has information on how to string the dial cord or the other issues I have mentioned, please pass it on.
