Hi Fellows,
    This is a follow-on to the trouble I was having setting the main 
tuning dial index mark on the SX-100.  I got an email from Mike KF6KXG 
and he stated he followed the manual and had no trouble.  So I looked 
at the manual again and found out I was trying to disengage the dial by 
lifting the Cam  Assembly instead of lifting the Idler Gear Mounting 
Plate.  The Idler Gear Mounting Plate is almost hidden with the front 
panel on.  By reading and properly following instructions, the dial was 
easily adjusted to the index.
