The SX-101 is has "Selectable Sideband" as described in Chuck Dachis's
book. What do you think that might mean?

The 101A has the "SSB Detector" but both have a BFO. Anyway, what do
you think the phrase "Selectable Sideband" means?

The only SX101 that had the product detector
was the SX-101A version which only covered
80-10 meters with a converter input for 6 & 2.
The other versions of the 101 had no product detector.
