Despite the continuing tales of terror involving UPS drivers who have had one
hand replaced with a combination jack hammer/chain saw, the home-brew speaker
cabinet arrived safely from K6UUZ in CA.

What a nice job that Ed did with this! It even smells new, but then again, he
just made it. A combination ten inch with a four inch in the center, front
firing. Speakers are wired in parallel with a screw terminal connection located
at the rear of the speaker enclosure. A very nice job of enclosure construction
with grill cloth and small round rubber feet on the cabinet bottom.

A very nice job Ed!

I intend to use this enclosure with a vintage mono amp with a pair of 6V6 in a
push/pull arrangement. I have no idea if this amp is a home-brew or commercial,
no markings to identify it by. No cabinet. The front panel has an input select
knob for mike, phono and line. It also has individual controls for bass and
treble, as well as individual line level knobs. I am going to add in a mono five
band graphic EQ I bought twenty years back from RS that is battery powered. This
system should make my SX-110 and Icom 756 (NCS station) sound like a steroid
pumped up SX-62 with a R-42 filling the room with warm audio!
