Thanks to all who took the time helping me with the 3 prong plug question.  I received quite an education and a lot of help about this and many related topics.  One thing is for sure, I'm not going to hook up the speakers, to an SX-16, with the radio plugged in...3 pronged plug or not.
 
What a great resource this group is...everyone is so ready to take time to help!  Thanks again!
