They also made a Mark III-A version which was the last refinement of the 
SX-101 that still covered 160 through 10 meters before the introduction of the 
SX-101A which dropped 160 and added two converter bands. I am not 100% certain 
about this but I think the III-A version had a product detector. Can anyone 
confirm this? Incidentally, a quick way to tell them apart at a glance or from a 
distance is the dial pointer. SX-101s had white pointers and SX-101As had red 
ones.
