[Hallicrafters] One receiver, 3 different sizes of Knob setscrews!

I wonder if all of those knobs on your set are original issue? Does anyone know
if the SX-71 came with three different sets of screws on the knobs? But they
certainly came with a variety of shades of gray paint, heh? (grin)

Hi.
Tonight I decided to tighten the setscrews in a couple of knobs that had
worked loose on my SX-71 blackface.  Imagine my surprise when the Hex wrench
that I used on the volume knob wouldn't fit the screws in the potmetal band
change knob.  Then my further surprise when neither of those hex wrenches
fit the setscrew in the CW Pitch knob.  That last one took a fluted or
spline wrench!

I'd had all these knobs off a couple years ago when I had the front panel
off during overhaul, but didn't remember all those different wrench sizes
being used.
