Bill,
I have a transformer that was removed from a damaged SX-25 that you can have
if I can find where I put the thing. I used it briefly until I got around to
having the original one rewound by Heyboer Transformer of Grand Haven
Michigan. There was an ever so slight a hum in the audio when using this
transformer that was gone when I installed the rewound one indicating to me
that there was an imbalance in the windings that didn't exist in the
replacement. Your welcome to the transformer but if it was me I would send
yours to Heyboer and have them rewind you a replacement. If my memory serves
me correctly I paid around 40 bucks and couldn't tell it from the original
because they used the same shell. If you want to call them their phone
number is 616-842-5830.
