Yep, just looked up W7AA in my 79' call book and the name and location
is as the lady claims.

Certainly W7AA has probably been re-issued two or more times from the
original. The only way to find the real original owner of that call
would be
in early print editions of the call books, like back in the 1940s, at
best.
N7OT had to have been issued after about 1975, since no N calls were
issued
before that time. That is not to say, though, that it could not have
been
re-issued since then. Two of my early calls have been reissued, one of
them
twice!

Looking up N7OT would again require someone with access to older
records,
although the fact it is a two letter call suggests it was an Extra Class
call
issued in the late 70s or early 80s. But that's speculation.

In fact, I just looked it up. Thomas H. Renfro, N7OT. Issued 28 Jan
1986,
expired 28 Jan 1996. Address was 8703 NE 94th AVE, Vancouver, WA 98662.

W7AA was not found in the 1993 QRZ database.

Sounds to me like the lady is legit. I have other reasons to think so,
as well.

Ed
