[Hallicrafters] Fw: Qsl Cards

Unfortunately, as innocent as this may appear, it may or may not be. There have
been numerous scams exactly like this over the past year. It is an attempt to
get e-mail addresses, financial donations and so forth. Note that it was sent to
an 'arrl.net' account - 	
	
Does Randy know this person? Did Randy check this out to be sure it was
legitimate before posting it here? (Yes I did write Randy) I would urge caution
on your part before replying to this 'woman'. For all we know, it is not a
woman! 	
	
While this may be legitimate, with the number of ingenious scams going around,
we all need to look and check, before we become involved. The favorite approach
is the human interest tale that gets right to the hearts of those who read them.
Spammers and soliciters, (is there a real difference?) will do almost anything
to get our names and exploit us. Caution is your best protection, so feel free
to exercise it. 	
	
Check this woman out Randy, being as she contacted you. Call her on the phone.
Let us know if this is for real or ...
