[Hallicrafters] Cleaning Chassis

Well, for several years and several dozen dirty chassis later...I have very good results with a product designed to clean wheels.
 
Turtle Wax 2001 Wheel Cleaner.
 
This is a no acid formula.  I have watched several radios for many months and don't see any "side effects" on the chassis.  I simply spray it on, wipe it off ...usually a couple of times.  The directions (for wheels) says to "hose off" but I just wipe it until it is dry and then use fine steel wool for the rest.  Maybe someone else has a better idea...??
