Hello Ken...  I'm in the "layout review" stage...comparing the schematic I 
have with the radio, and I have already found differences at the 12K8.  On my 
schematic, it shows the resistor coming off of pin 5 running to pin 6 with a cap 
to ground.  The low side of T1 primary runs to pin 4.  Well, in the radio, it 
looks like the resistor off of pin 5 runs to cathode/pin 8 with a cap to 
ground, and the low side of T1 primary doesn't directly connect back to the 12K8.  
So, I'm not sure what I have.  Do you know of a difference between an EC-1 
and EC-1 Commercial?

Maybe I should try and find the layout for the EC-1B schematic, and see if it 
uses a 12K8.
