[Hallicrafters] Stand-alone Hallicrafters Calibrator?

Sorry for bringing up an eBay auction, but this might be of some 
interest.  At

is the auction for a stand-alone Hallicrafters calibrator in a TO style 
case. I've seen it and it's solid state.   The seller, from whom I just 
bought an SX-117, says that he got it from someone who was a 
Halllicrafters engineer and thinks it was a one-off item that they put 
together or a prototype that was never put into production.  It's not 
in the Chuck Dachis book that I can tell.

Anyone seen anything like this before?
