Guido,

Did you apply a VERY SMALL drop of Caig De-Oxit or Pro Gold to the 
capacitor wiping contacts??? If not do so. See www.caig.com for details. 
Order a sample kit of mini sprays online.  Ten bucks or so.

Check shield cans where they mate with the chassis, tie strip ground 
points, tube socket ground points, ground pins on metal tubes - usually pin 
1 (do not use a glass tube where a metal one should be.. it will not be 
shielded as it should be..)
