Please warm up those things that still go glow in the dark and join us tonight
November 19th for the HCI Wednesday 20 meter Global Glow Roundtable. We will be
on the air starting at 6:00 PM EST, (2300 UTC) until about 8:00 PM EST, (0100
UTC) The frequency will be 14.315 Mhz usb +/- for key clicks, mike splatter and
the Splish Splash (Bobby Daren) of Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head (Dee Clark)
from the hole in the Ham Shack roof where the budget airline flying overhead
dumped the contents of the toilet holding tank which froze into a solid lump of
yellow ice (remember, don't eat yellow snow?) as it fell earthward through the
frigid atmosphere and blew through my roof like a teenage boy bursting through a
locked gym locker room door in pursuit of the Playboy magazine he saw fall out
of somebody's back pack just as the steel door swung shut! It may be difficult
to do the Global Glow with The Rhythm Of The Rain (The Cascades) pitter
pattering off the umbrella I swiped, make that borrowed, off a buddy's golf
cart, but just ignore that annoying sound in my background when the sump pump
kicks in and drowns me out as it blows the water into the neighbor's shrubs.

I tried to get the hole patched, but it seems all the guys who do roofing work
are out trying to kill Bambi! Or else are chasing two legged dear's that they
better not bring home tied naked across the hood of their vehicles unless they
want to end up like the other deer hanging on a meat hook to cure! So bear with
me tonight as the assorted sounds make my background sound like I am doing the
Global Glow live from a Fall carnival near what has come to be known as the
Barf-A-Coaster! I hope to hear you tonight, so come early and play late! Light
those Hallicrafters up and let's kick some electrons around the ionosphere while
old Sol is taking a snooze from hurling flaming flares at us.
