Thanks for the info.  I am currently restoring 2 HT-37's
and I wanted to keep the tubes and decided to go with a
bucking xfmr a while back.

    In a word, no.  Not like you say, at least.  The HV & LV will be
higher, maybe 10-20v, this is not a problem in these transmitters.  This
