Just keep laughing. UPS is going to use the postal system for transportation of
parcels and then UPS does the delivery in the near future! The postal system
already sub-contracts FedX for some mail, priority, I think. Now the postal
system is already drowning in their own sea of gross mismanagement, and this is
in spite of their constant rate increases. Because they have to give UPS a
special volume discounted rate, they will actually lose money doing this! (story
on CNN, not my tale) Where do they get these brain dead people to run the postal
system from anyhow? What other business can be so terribly managed, with
constant cost over runs and terrible equipment blunders, (they built dozens of
high tech facilities to do super mail sorting at a cost of hundreds of millions,
one in Lansing, MI and they were a total bust. Shut them down, tore them down.) 
and simply pass the cost on to their customers? No fear, they have no
competition. So they have a license to be stupid and screw up and the citizens
who need the postal system pick up the tab time after time after time. A good
deal for UPS, as far as lowering transportation costs, alose money deal for the
post office, but guess who will pick up the tab for this new loss?

This really has nothing to do with radio, but I was in
the Richardson, Texas, FedEx office this afternoon
when a UPS truck pulled up and made a delivery!  The
UPS driver, the FedEx clerk, my wife, and I got a good
"chuckle".  

The manager of FedEx had ordered something from a
company that only used UPS for delivery.  The UPS
driver said this happens "once in a while", but not
very often!

Just wish I had my camera with me!
