[Hallicrafters] desparately need a knob!

You guys obviously do not know what you are doing.  Everyone probably has
a box full of old nuts, bolts and washers around so with a little help from 
JB Weld, duct tape and aluminum foil  --instant knobs....but make sure to
do a clean job to retain that resale value.

   
Oh yes you can always put some paint on your new knobs to make them match
any knobs that are still original or take them off and resell them to that
jerk that thinks he needs original knobs and then go buy some more JB Weld
and duct tape with the money  for the next restoration.  Remember the duct
tape can be used for a lot of other parts of the restoration like covering
holes and holding the covers on.
