Interesting. The Heterodyne Oscillator and 1st Mixer are
both used on 40M. The output is mixed with the VFO via
the 2nd Mixer, and if either of those were belly up, you'd get no
output on 40M. I can't see any one particular item that could
account for low power on all those bands, and not on 40M.
Have you checked and cleaned the bandswitch contacts? I've gone
from 0 to full power on several bands with a good cleaning with DeoxIt.
As far as the VFO being off goes, follow the calibration procedure in the
HT-37 manual. If you don't have it, you can get it from the BAMA site.
