Meguiars Mirror Glaze is a similar product to Novus (I have both).  They
too have a series 10 clear plastic polish, 17 cleaner, 18
(polish/cleaner spray for regular maintenance) and Defect Remover System
(for major repairs).  It too works well.

The stated purpose:  "Restores Optic Clarity To:  Boat Windows,
Convertible Windows, Helmut visors, Aircraft Windshields, CD's, Tinted
Windows, Eyeglasses, Instrument Panels, Computer Screens".

I have used both Novus and Mequiars to repair CD's, cycle helmet visor,
Zenith Transoceanic plastic parts, convertible rear windows, meter
lenses, etc.  Both seem to work about the same (well) although the
Meguiars Defect Remover System appears to work better for really bad
defects.
