[Hallicrafters] new member question

Hi, I'm new to the list. I have an S-77A that appears to have been
repainted. It also has stick on decals.

The finish is almost flat black, and is smooth. Did this radio originally
have the black wrinkle finish that many Hallicrafters had back then?

Also, is there a source for the decals? I haven't been able to find one. It
even has the Hallicrafters logo in the upper right corner, so it must have
been a custom set.

I'm not a stickler for it being made original (after all, one of the
beauties of a metal cabinet is that you can always paint it again!) I kind
of like the smooth black matte' finish, but it's in bad shape.
