[Hallicrafters] SX-28 sensitivity on 10-15 meters?

Just wanted to know how the SX-28 fairs on 10 and 15 meters? I suspect low sensitivity. Is this true? What are ways to "lessen" the deafness? Thanks. Cal, N6KYR.
