I am still looking for a 5 inch PM speaker for my S-40B restoration project. 
The Hallicrafters part no. is 85B050 (used in S-40A , S-40B, S51 & S52). It 
looks like part no. 85C043 (used in S-40) is also usable since the Sams 
Photofact parts list shows the Jensen ST-107 or Stancor A3877 as substitutes 
for all of these part numbers. Other acceptable substitutes look like 85C035 
(used in S-38) or 85C030 (used in S-38B & S-53). A Jensen ST-105 can replace 
these last 2 part nos. From the photos in the Sams Photofact manuals all of 
the above speakers appear to be very similar & all have essentially the same 
input impedance.

If anyone has any of these items for sale it would be greatly appreciated. So 
please check the old junk boxes and parts radios.
