I realized moments after I hit the "send" button that 25 MHz WWV was long
dead, but it's not like being able to chase down the mailman moments
after he's picked up the mail from your mailbox. I had faint hopes that
nobody would notice my blooper, but I might as well hope my neighbors
don't have TVI BEFORE I get the coax strung and the antenna up on the new
tower. Fat chance! Glen Zook, Richard.McClung, Duane Fischer, V.A.
Weiss, Fred Olsen, and Mike Howerter all gently reminded me that I'm old
enough now for a "senior moment." Of all the things I've lost I miss my
mind the most.

What really hurt though was that no one noticed or commented on my main
point about the crystal. Who says subtlety is dead? No wait, that's
chivalry. Never mind.

Oh, and yes, you can mail a letter by leaving it in your mailbox and the
mailman will take it to the post office for you; no need to trudge all
the way to the post box. Gotta go. One of the neighbors is banging on
the door and yelling.
