The transformers made and marketed by the Peter Dahl company are excellent
products. Superior to the original part and good for many many years of regular
use. They are not cheap, but they are quality minded.
I have heard of several who used a heavy TV transformer to replace the power
transformer in a HT-37 and the HT-45. I know that K0TNP used one for a HT-37,
does anyone else have an experience to share?

Hi Ken, The "Peter Dahl Co." has an exact replacement at a cost of $165. They
are located in Texas and are on the internet.
