[Hallicrafters] HT-45 Loudenboomer Mark IIA Amplifier

Hell-o to everyone on the list. I just signed up after searching the
archives and coming up short, I thought I would
ask a few questions here.

Everything with the Amp. appears to be original except the swinging choke
was replaced with one that is not quite the same
inductance (it also was too large to fit inside the power supply). Is there
anywhere or anyone that has the original?

Secondly, the idling current is low, 50 mA where is should be 120 mA and the
plate voltage runs high (4000 v.). These reading are taken from the meter.
This would indicate to me the tube does not present enough load to draw more
current and pull the voltage down...but then if I knew for sure I would not
be asking for input...

When I did try to load the amp. the current did raise and the voltage did
drop, but not near the specs.

Any help would be much appreciated.
