[Hallicrafters] Saturday HCI Net Goes Out With A Bang!

Please fade on in from the ethereal vapors of skip land and join us for the
Saturday June 28th Hallicrafters Collectors International 40 meter Net. It will
drift into reception with the pre-Net at 12:30 PM EDT, (1630 UTC). The Net
proper, commences at 1:00 PM EDT, (1700 UTC). The frequency is 7.280 Mhz lsb +/-
for key clicks, mike splatter and the clanging racket of Boat Anchor prices
tumbling down like a house of cards. Don't we wish! 	
	
Hopefully the propagation will allow me to hear those of you in adjacent states,
for a change. Those of you who normally are out of range of this Net have been
missing out the past few weeks, as reception has been good for Iowa, Nebraska,
Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Missouri, Maine and so forth. So listen in,
who knows, you just might get to rattle your relays for a while.      	
	
If things go as planned, there will be a special guest helping me with the
Sunday 20 meter Net, someone many of you know, or have heard of. He will be live
here at my QTH, but I am not sharing my official NCS chair with him. I have it
broken in just right to accommodate my rump, he will have to use an unofficial
NCS chair dutifully christened by a large amphibian!   

So join us on Sunday, if you can. I would appreciate any relay assistance that
any of you can offer. Many stations are simply not being heard because of the
deep QSB and nearly constant band fluctuations. Some additional relay help will
help to eliminate many stations not being heard. Thanks!
