Yes there is a way to color lamps. The easest is to try thin finger
nail polish. It works best if diped and not brushed.
The best is lamp coloring. This made for the theater lighting trade.
it is availble through a theater supply or a bigger electrical
supply house that does a lot of lighting. But it comes in pint
bottoles so you want to do a lot of lamps. I color my drake bulbs
with blue magic marker. Not very even but it does add a little color.
its better than nothing.
