[Hallicrafters] Tuner

Probably the most prevalent antenna tuner from this
era would be the Johnson Matchbox. Although the
kilowatt version would be the best, the 275 watt
version will take over a KW of PEP. Remember, the
specifications were for AM carrier power which has a
times 4 factor when a carrier is modulated 100
percent. That is, 275 watts becomes 1100 watts PEP.
These ratings were for transmitter input, and the
output power is normally 80 percent or less. But, the
275 watt matchbox will normally take at least 1000
watts PEP output without any problems.

I have an SX-11, Ht-37, and HT-41. What I am looking
for is advise (advice) on what kind of tuner would
compliment this station.
