Now you're making me nervous. What are the symptoms of high cadmium
levels in the blood? An insatiable proclivity for more big old radios?
Compulsive tinkering? DeOxit addiction? Tube tester fetishes.
Listening to foreign language broadcasts and then speaking in tongues?
Uh-oh.
Seriously though -- how did you find out you had this problem? What
confuses me (I confuse easily -- Oh No!) is that cadmium is an
nutrient/ingredient in some of those megavitamin/megamineral supplements.
Or did I imagine that? <sigh>
I would add here that it's best to avoid using abrasive wheels and
wirebrushes on the chassis, and be careful of beryllium-copper tube
shield liners. And be careful with those mercury-laden 83 tubes and ..
Arghhh! -- gone phobic too, dammit.
