I was just looking around to try to find another HT-37 / SX-111 owner like myself and needed to ask a question. I have been using my old classic gear for a couple of years now and last week I got me a nice HT-41 amp to add to my station. I have it in line and it works great except on the amp I just have a jumper wire across the cutoff bias terminal strip at the back of the HT-41.
Looking at the drawing in my manual that the cutoff bias strip is to be wired into my exciter vox relay which would be my HT-37.
Ok now looking in my HT-37 manual at the SOB control outlet I am not sure which vox relay pin that I should use. It looks like 6 & 7 are vox relay and also pin 5 is marked NO, pin 9 is marked Pole and pin 10 is marked NC and are showing to be VOX Relay Contacts also. I am using a dowkey T/R switch between my SX-111 & HT-37. Right now I am not using the contact on the dowkey. I have just been switching my receiver in the standby position when transmitting. Can the contact on the dowkey be used for the bias-cutoff on the HT-41 amp ? If all of this sound confusing to you it has to be the way I tried to explain it . Can anyone help me on this one ?
Thanks,
Mike W4MJR
