You might also try for Hallicrafters Part No. 15A048 which is the main 
tuning/bandspread knob for the S-38B & S-40B. It looks like the '047 without 
the insert ring.

I'm looking for a 15A048 for an S-40B I'm restoring if anyone has one.

You may also want to contact Larry Bordonaro at Old Time Replications 
(oldtimerep at aol.com). Larry can make a copy if you can supply him with a 
photo or sample.
