[Hallicrafters] S-22-R

Hello everyone
I cannot help but tell you about the find I stumbled on last week. I like to 
visit resale shops in my area just to see what is out there. And I couldent 
beleive my eyes when I saw a Hallicrafters S-22-R, complet, with all knobs. 
No dents, Both side moldings. Plastic on both dials perfect and turned nice 
and red. It just needed a filter cap and two tubes and it is running fine. 
Band one is usless. I cannot get anything on band three. Band twos great 
pleanty local and distant radio stations come in . Right now I am lisening 
to some hams on 40 meters AM. That is band four. I am going to ask you guys 
if you know why band three wont pick anything up 1.7-5.0. I ran the 
alighnment screws up and down and nothing.
