I can assure you that a "perfect wrinkle" finish can be obtained with powder
coating. I recently had my Hammarlund SP-600 cabinet. It had several coats of
different color/texture paaint when I received it. It had to be bead blasted
first, but came out just fine.

They can do any color/texture you desire. They have a 12ft. X 21 ft. oven.
