[Hallicrafters] SX-71 Knob question

Hi Alan,
My SX-62A, S-76, and some models of the S-38 have the same tuning knobs as
my SX-71. There are probably more that do also.
Some variants of the S-38 don't have the thin silver ring at the outside
edge of the knob.
Suggest getting a copy of "Radios by Hallicrafters" by Chuck Dachis. He has
lots of excellent pictures of almost everything Hallicrafters ever made.
I have used mine so much it is starting to fall apart!
I am still looking for (the holy grail of Hallicrafters knobs) a perfect
SX-101 tuning knob.
Good luck knob hunting!

Subject: [Hallicrafters] SX-71 Knob question
Is the large TUNING/BANDSPREAD knob for the SX-71 (Part Number 15-A-047)
unique to the SX-71 or was it shared by several other models?
I am still looking for one---
