[Hallicrafters] The Hallicrafters Name

Hi All!

First let me say the I am thoroughly enjoying the information and tips that are passed along by the members of this group!

I had an opportunity to research the trademark of our favorite equipment and found something interesting that I thought I pass along. It seems, that the trademark for the name HALLICRAFTERS, was applied for and granted to the "Professional Electronics Co., Inc." of Alabaster Alabama, in 1997. From what I can determine, this company manufactures a wide verity of electronic equipment. Including radio receivers and transmitters. 

This leads me to speculate, the one day we may see the name Hallicrafters once again on some type of radio equipment? If anyone has more information on this, I like to hear about it.
