	Thanks for the comparison you made and making it easy to understand. I
checked the one I have on the shelf here on the restoration "On Deck" circle
and find that I indeed have a Mark 1. I don't know how that happened since I
usually ALWAYS get "the OTHER one!" HiHi.....

How to tell the differences.

Inquiring minds want to know!!

The SX111 has 13 tubes,  and the SX111 MK 1 has 14 tubes.

Look at the back center of the chassis top.  The SX-111 has C69 there,
and the SX111 MK1 has the 6BY6 Productor Detector Tube in about the
same place.

I scanned in the tube location figure from both manuals, combined them with
a few arrows etc.  They're at
