[Hallicrafters] Panel screw for S20R needed, S-meter question

I just received an S20R that I intend to restore. It is missing one of
the panel screws. I've seen these on many different models of the
earlier Hallicrafters so it probably doesn't need to be one specifically
from an S20R. These are slotless screws with a knurled rim, about 3/8"
to 1/2" long and .230" in diameter. Here is a picture of what the head
looks like: "http://www.geocities.com/ac_cars/panelscrew.jpg". Does
anyone have a spare or two available?

Also, can anyone provide info on the external S-meter often referred to
as an accessory for the various older receivers, such as the S-20R.
There is a socket on the rear designated for the S-meter and the socket
is shown on the schematic, but no details are in the manual.

1. Is there an actual Hallicrafters S-meter option for these receivers?

2. If so, does anyone have a picture of what an original one looks like?

3. Is there a schematic of what Hallicrafters intended to be used with
this socket?

4. Any other observations on S-meter usage? I have found at least one
web site that talks about adding an S-meter to the Hallicrafters radios,
I was just wonder what else was available.

For the purists, no I'm not butchering the radio to add an S-meter to
the panel, I want to try to duplicate an external S-meter as
Hallicrafters had intended for use with the S20R.
