I would definitely go for this one! It was a WW II troop "morale"
radio. According to Dachis, who says that the value is "unknown," it is
a 7 tube, 3 band portable covering 540kc/s to 19 mc/s with a 455kc IF.
Built in speaker, bandspread, and three/way power. 120v ac/dc and
battery. Tube lineup is 1R5 oscillator and mixer, 1N5s as 1st and 2nd
IFs, 1H5 detector and 1st audio, 50L6 audio output for 120vac, 3Q5 audio
output for battery use, and 35Z5 rectifier for 120vac. It's a cool
little portable from 1942 and is also known as the RE-1.
If anyone has a copy of the manual, I would sure like to add it to the
BAMA collection.
