> WD (WD-40) is about 90% kerosene


WD-40 is roughly 20% light petroleum oil in roughly 70% Stoddard 
solvent, with other ingredients (anti-oxidant, wetting agent, fragrance) 
to make-up.  Stoddard solvent is rather lighter than kerosene and will 
dry more quickly and leave less residue.  WD-40, of course, leaves its 
oil as residue.
