I have been reading an article in the AWA Journal Vol. 15 on Signal
intercept operations from WW 1 through WW 2. There is mentioned the SX
38 Receiver and also the SX 38 Panadaptor. Two different units and there
are pictures of both.

Did the SX 38 Panadapter unit ever make it to the surplus market? Does
any one have one of these sets? Did it ever get a military designation
such as BC XX??.

I have a BC 1031C which is a 1950 vintage set Made by New London
Instrument Co. Did Hallicrafters stop making Panadapter sets? I assume
the BC 1031 was of WW 2 vintage, A,B.C models late to post war vintage.
