[Hallicrafters] HA-1 speed stability

Rick, that is not normal for the HA-1.  I have an HA-1 TO keyer and the keying speed is perfectly stable regardless of whether the unit has been on for 1 minute, 30 minutes or whatever.  

Good luck with getting it repaired to work as it should.  Hopefully some people will give you advice on how to repair the problem.

Subject: [Hallicrafters] HA-1 question

I have a question for all HA-1 to keyer owners. When i first turn
on my ha-1 it runs at a faster speed than slowes down after 30min.
It runs at a steady speed after that warm up. I simply adjust my sending
to compensate. Is this normal or do i have some unstable componets?
