You're certainly right about packing. Most folks DON'T know how or don't care 
enough to do it right. The other point you brought up is insurance. A lot of 
sellers will say  $$$$ plus insurance if you want it, or insurance is 
optional as I am not responsible for delivery, etc etc. Stay AWAY from these 
shippers. Insurance protects the SELLER............not the buyer. The seller 
is the one who has to purchase the insurance, regardless of who pays for it, 
the seller is the one responsible for tracking numbers, and the seller is 
responsible for starting a damage claim if one should arise. 
Scenario.......If I buy a rig from you for 100 bux and you send it with no 
insurance and it gets trashed....YOU still owe me either a rig or 100 bux. 
The insurance allows the seller to regain his loss, the buyer is STILL owed 
the product or money back...........Al/W8FAX
