Thankyou mark, I will take your suggestion on taking these screws off using 
penetrating oil! I didn't want to strip the soft aluminum with those iron 
screws!
If I seem over cautious, It is just that I like to have some background 
knowledge because I never worked on a B&W 5100 or 5100B series before. These 
transmitters I'm determined to keep! After all there is NOT a lot of them out 
there or lots of plentiful parts!
 Like my experiences years ago on Johnson Valiants and WRL Globe 300A's 
transmitters, it doesn't hurt to know the in's and out's of the design.Also 
where to take your time! I had a few experiences with these transmitters and 
I will tell you have to know there in's and out's.
If anyone has a facts on the 5100 or 5100B series about inconsistencies, 
mods, or faults about the design I would love to here from them! 
Any tech info the ameteur transmitters or linears that B&W made would be 
welcomed.
