Please forgive the slightly off-topic posting, but here's some nice vintage listening for our vintage Hallicrafters receivers. When these guys were on the air in July, I used my SX 42 to copy them. They saved the old KPH coastal station from the bulldozers and periodically put it back on the air for special events.
Note that in addition to the commercial frequencies, they will also have an amateur station up and running for contacts.
Enjoy.

These historic transmitters were on the air for the Press Wireless point to point service in Belmont, CA, then at the KFS site when Globe acquired Press Wireless. We believe one of the transmitters was in service at KFS on the last day of American commercial Morse on July 12, 1999.
