[Hallicrafters] SR-400 questions ?

I have just starting restoring a couple of SR-400 transceivers. I have 
totally rebuilt and I mean total one PS-500A and it is working great.  I 
plugged it into both radios this afternoon and as I kind of expected 
neither SR-400 worked.  I have tested all the tubes and found a couple 
of  7059's that I will need to replace. Anyone out there with a couple 
they would be willing to part with let me know. I  have not looked for a 
substitute yet  so do not know if there is one.  I now have one unit 
with all known good tubes so I turned it back on and  got an awful noise 
out of the speaker.  I unpowered the radio and went looking for any caps 
in the audio circuit that might need to be replaced.  I replaced a 25 
mfd cap and the noise to now gone but still not RF to be heard. 

So anyone else restore one of these and know what parts are problems 
that need to be replaced ?  My next step is get out the signal generator 
and scope and go at it one stage at a time.
